A pretty variegated shrub, yellow in colour and evergreen, with wiry like stems, providing year round interest. In need of shelter, and well-drained soil in the sun, especially in colder areas. Produces yellow star shaped flowers in summer, followed by attractive berries in autumn. A wonderful coastal pick.
Corokia x Virgata Red Wonder
A hybrid form of Corokia x virgata from New Zealand forming an upright growing slender shrub (1.5m/5ft h x 1m/3ft spread). Smallish bronze green leaves are complimented by starry yellow flowers in the summer and attractive deep red berries in the autumn. Good for seaside gardens in a sunny position.

Another hybrid form of Corokia x virgata (1.5m/5ft h x 1-1.5m/3-5ft) with larger green leaves and starry yellow flowers in the summer followed by golden yellow berries in the autumn. A good plant for seaside gardens in well drained soil in a sunny position. Can be trimmed to form different shapes.
