A stunning Restio from the coastal hills and mountains of South Africa that looks good planted alone, or impressive when planted in groups of 3-5. The tall stems are covered in rich dark brown grass like flowers in the summer and autumn but like all the Restios will not self seed. It should be planted in an acidic soil in full sun where it should reach a height in the region of 1m/3.3ft and a spread of 60cm/1.9ft. Great for coastal areas!
