Often known as the Cornish palm or Torbay palm, even though not officially a palm, this one is great at tolerating very heavily salt laden winds, making it an ideal focal point in seaside gardens, bringing a lovely exotic feel to the landscape with its sword-like leaves. It can grow to 5m/16.4ft and will branch out after flowering, when mature. Flowers appear in panicles up to 1m/3.3ft long. Ideal for south west gardens, but they should be protected from the hardest frosts by covering the leaves. We have a range of sizes available.
