Wonderful golden yellow petals form a starburst around a dark, brown-purple cone. Also known as ‘Black Eyed Susan’, its abundance of cheerful flowers sit on upright stems, several feet tall during the summer. The flowers give off a lovely fragrance adding yet another dimension to the garden. These plants are generally low maintenance, and prefer a sun or light shade position.
