Also known as the Coneflower, this is an erect perennial (height 1.5m/4.9ft, spread 45cm/1.5ft) with stout stems of large daisy-like flowerheads with a cone-shaped golden brown disc surrounded by purplish red petals partly reflexed. Flowers July to September and should be planted in full sun.
