A dwarf flax (height and spread in the region of 1m/3.3ft). Its pink foliage is delicately striped with lime-green and can withstand salt-laden wind and moist conditions - but not waterlogged soil, making it an excellent seaside plant. It should be planted in full sun for best effect, and also looks good in a container.
