Bred for its disease resistance this lovely evergreen shrub has a compact growth habit and possesses dark green foliage, ideal for a coastal garden; and racemes of wonderful violet flowers in the early summer. It grows best in a free draining soil in full sun, to a height of about 60cm/1.9ft. It has proved itself fairly hardy, surviving -6°C in our nursery.

A compact evergreen shrub with spear shaped dull green leaves and deep pink, purple flowers in the summer. Max height 75cm/2.4ft and spread of 1.5m/4.9ft.
