Shrubs or small trees from the Mediterranean area that can reach up to 8m/26ft in the right conditions. Pretty, often white/cream and varying pink toned flowers are produced through the summer in loose heads. It needs to be grown in full sun and once established will tolerate drought but not in containers, so take extra care if used as patio plants. It requires a free draining soil and should be able to take temperatures as low as -5 to -7oC for short periods of time. Caution: Toxic if eaten.
