This reliably evergreen Teucrium (if sheltered from cold winds) is found growing wild in the Western Mediterranean. It is a bushy shrub with fine spikes of lavender/pale blue flowers through the summer and complementary silver-green leaves that give off a lovely scent around them. It prefers a very well-drained soil in sheltered full sun and it does well and looks great in a border or as a clipped hedge.
