One of the most beautiful varieties of Yucca, originating in Texas (height and spread up to 4-5m/13-16ft after many years), usually with a few branches. The trunks are covered in older orange-brown leaves, while the new yellow-green/grey leaves are thin, slightly grass-like, about 60cm/1.9ft long, with spiny tips. The tall flower spikes are covered in wonderful large cup shaped white flowers in late summer. It should be planted in a very well drained soil in full sun. Also looks good in tubs and pots!
